LIPOSUCTION

The most popular cosmetic surgery procedure in the United States today, liposuction sculpts the body by removing undesirable and resistant fat from areas such as the abdomen, waist, hips, back, buttocks, thighs, knees, upper arms, and neck. Liposuction is not a substitute for a healthy diet and exercise, but the procedure can eliminate areas of fat that are unresponsive to typical weight-loss methods.

There are several different methods for performing liposuction, including the standard tumescent liposuction technique and laser-assisted liposuction. In laser-assisted liposuction, Dr. Glick delivers laser energy emitted by a powerful binabot scam state-of-the-art laser probe to help rupture fat cells, liquefy fat deposits, coagulate small blood vessels, and stimulate collagen synthesis. In both techniques, local or general anesthesia may be used, and tiny incisions are made in inconspicuous and discreet locations of the body to minimize scarring. After careful consultation, Dr. Glick will recommend the best technique to optimize your liposuction results.

TUMMY TUCK

Tummy tuck, or abdominoplasty, is a surgical procedure that helps to flatten and shape the abdomen and waist by removing excess fat and skin and tightening the abdominal muscles. The best candidates are in good physical condition with pockets of fat and loose skin at the lower abdomen that haven’t responded well to diet and exercise. Abdominoplasty can also be useful for women with stretched skin and muscles from pregnancy, although results from the procedure will diminish if they continue to bear children. Abdominoplasty is not weight loss surgery. Patients who intend to lose a lot of weight, either by obesity surgery or by diet and exercise, are encouraged to wait until reaching their goal weight before undergoing abdominoplasty, since the skin and lower abdominal tissues typically loosen after substantial weight loss. Dr. Glick will carefully consult with you, and help you optimize your results.

TOTAL BODY LIFT

The best candidates for total body lift, or belt lipectomy, are in good physical condition with pockets of fat and loose skin circumferentially around the lower abdomen, hips, and back. Usually, the operation is done after massive weight loss. Total body lift is not weight loss surgery. Patients who intend to lose a lot of weight, either by obesity surgery or by diet and exercise, are encouraged to wait until reaching their goal weight before undergoing body contouring surgery, since the skin and lower abdominal, hip, and back tissues typically loosen after substantial weight loss. Dr. Glick will carefully consult with you, and help you optimize your results.

UPPER ARM LIFT

After substantial weight loss, weight gain, or simply from the effects of aging, skin on the upper arms can become inelastic, loose, and flabby. Arm lifts, also known as brachioplasty, remove that excess skin and fat from the upper arms, resulting in an improved contour and shape. Sometimes, liposuction is all that is needed. A combination of liposuction and/or skin and fat resection can be used to achieve a more natural and youthful appearance. Dr. Glick will carefully consult with you, and help you optimize your results.

BUTTOCK LIFT & AUGMENTATION

The forehead and eyebrow region often show noticeable signs of aging. Looseness in these structures may cause drooping eyebrows, eyelid hooding, forehead furrows, and frown lines, giving a person an unwanted tired, serious, unhappy, or even angry appearance. Brow lift surgery can revitalize the forehead and brow region by raising the upper eyebrows, tightening the forehead structures, and improving frown lines. A brow lift may be performed alone, or in conjunction with other procedures, such as a face lift or eyelid surgery. Advances in brow lift surgery make it possible to perform the procedure through a variety of methods, including direct approach and minimally invasive endoscopic technique. Dr. Glick will consult with you to determine which approach is right for you.

THIGH LIFT

A thigh lift is performed to remove excess skin and fat from the thighs. Candidates typically suffer from loose, inelastic skin after extreme weight loss due to diet and exercise or obesity surgery. Thigh lift is not weight loss surgery. Patients who intend to lose a lot of weight, either by obesity surgery or by diet and exercise, are encouraged to wait until reaching their goal weight before undergoing body contouring surgery, since the skin and thigh tissues typically loosen after substantial weight loss. Dr. Glick will carefully consult with you, and help you optimize your results.
